Streetdog SOS is committed to rescuing and rehabilitating street dogs in the most desperate need. Road traffic accidents, diseases such as parvovirus, canine distemper and TVT, cruelty, abuse and abandonment are just some of the daily emergencies we deal with.
After a dog has been rescued and assessed by our local vet, a treatment plan is put in place to ensure the dog has the best chance of making a successful recovery. They will then be nursed back to health at our shelter. Once recovered, we’ll try to find them a new home and family through our adoption program. However, if they’re not suitable for adoption, our shelter will become their forever home.
